AtariVIP - Digital Gauge Cluster for the Holden VE Series 1 Sport (SV6 / SS / SS V) or any variant with dash swap to S1 sports trim.

The AtariVIP is a full-colour 8.8" digital gauge display with touch that installs IN-DASH, directly replacing your factory SIC ("Atari") screen OR factory blank, and turns it into a proper live performance and information cluster. Think of it as HSV's EDI - but bigger, sharper, fully customisable and packed with gauges and pages the factory never dreamed of.

Best of all it's completely STANDALONE. It reads your car's data straight off the CAN bus, so there's NO programming, NO tune, NO dealer coding and NO EDI enabling required. Plug in power and CAN using factory connectors, go through the setup wizard and drive. It doesn't touch your stereo either - run it alongside the factory stereo OR any aftermarket head unit.

IN-DASH, REPLACES THE FACTORY SIC: Comes with model-specific mounting brackets that fit straight into the factory SIC location - no cutting, no custom fab.

Features:

Display & fitment:
- 8.8" ultra-wide bonded glass display, razor sharp
- Installs IN-DASH, replacing the factory SIC - looks like Holden/HSV built it in
- Comes with model-specific mounting brackets that fit straight into the factory SIC location - no cutting, no custom fab
- Automatic day/night dimming (follows the car's dash lights)
- Clean keep-alive power management - powers down tidily with the ignition and door open.

Standalone:
- 100% STANDALONE - reads CAN directly: NO programming, NO tune, NO coding, NO EDI enabling
- Works with the factory Stereo OR any aftermarket stereo - completely independent of your audio

Gauge pages (swipe to change):
- Sensor dials - four analog-style dials, choose any sensor for any dial
- Driver - big RPM arc + shift-light, gear, speed, live brake & throttle bars, brake pressure
- Gear - oversized gear read-out + D / S / M drive-mode indicator
- G-Force - live lateral & longitudinal g with a g-ball and YOUR car on screen
- Built-in 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) stopwatch
- Multi-gauge grid - up to 18 readings at once

Make it yours:
- Global Metric / Imperial, and per-gauge units, custom ranges & warning points
- Theme/accent colours (incl. AUTO that follows Drive/Sport/Manual) + your car colour
- Switchable RPM shift-light, or a boost gauge when you add a boost sensor
- Boot animations - Holden, Pontiac, Chevrolet, HDT, and a Knight Rider "KITT" scanner
- Driver lock-outs for safety - brightness + page-swipe only while moving, full setup when stopped

Live data - the AtariVIP decodes 25+ channels straight from the car, including: coolant temp, oil pressure, oil temp, trans temp, intake temp, outside temp, map (manifold), vacuum, boost (psi/bar), engine load, throttle, afr (air/fuel), maf (airflow), fuel level, instant economy, torque (nm), power (kw/hp), engine rpm, road speed, battery voltage, brake %, brake pressure, steering angle, lateral g, yaw rate.

Fitment & compatibility:
Direct in-dash fit - model-specific brackets included. For the Holden VE Series 1 (2006-2010) SPORT variants that came with the factory "Atari" SIC:
- Holden VE Series 1 Sport (2006-2010): SV6 - SS - SS V - sedan, Ute & Sportwagon
- HSV E-Series (same SIC / EDI): ClubSport - ClubSport R8 - GTS - Maloo - Senator - Grange - W427 (excluding E3)

About the "Atari" screen: The factory part is the SIC (Secondary Information Cluster), known to everyone as the "Atari screen" - the small display in the top-centre of the VE dash, the AtariVIP replaces it (or fills the blank panel if the car never had one) and is fully self-contained - it does NOT rely on or link to the factory SIC or stereo.

Series 2, Calais, Omega, Berlina or anything else - see the AtariVIP Universal VE Platform version (universal bracket). More mounting options and screens to come for S2.

SIC = Secondary Information Cluster (the "Atari" screen)
EDI = HSV Enhanced Driver Interface
IQ = Holden's entertainment system in the VE
D/S/M = Drive / Sport / Manual
